5) – The necessary documents for purchase and registration:

  • The title deed paper for the seller’s ownership of the property.
  • A translated and certified copy of the buyer’s passport, his agent, or the agent’s identity card if he is Turkish.
  • Obtaining a tax number for the buyer from the relevant tax department in Türkiye. This number does not require any payments initially.
  • Opening a bank account in one of the approved Turkish banks.
  • A certified copy of the building permit if the property is built.
  • The real estate evaluation report, which is extracted by the seller from one of the competent and officially licensed companies, and it includes all information about the property in terms of its specifications, age, license, and estimated value according to the prevailing price. It is required that no more than three months have passed since its issuance.
  • Four personal photos of the buyer.
  • Earthquake insurance policy for the property.
